I spotted a bug. I was able to move in a way so that when the ghosts follow me they run into each other and be stuck there forever.

Spotted a minor bug. One of the ghosts didn't end the game for me.  Left side. It looks like the blue ghost was painted right over the top, but I could keep moving

There are still  collision detection bugs I must admit, I had to rush that part and it is a definite point of improvement as of now.

Sounds like development of this game was rough, but you did it! Now you have better practices, more knowledge of data structures, etc.

It was a great experience for me to participate in the 7DRL, and I feel indeed more motivated to learn about algorithms, now that I can see how they could be applied in software.

Its interesting but I'd suggest adding some sort of twist to the game so as to make it different form the original pack man. Great effort though!

I would like first to try and implement stuff from the original game that I couldn't yet, such as proper AI for the four different ghosts, solid collision detection, and power ups for the player to turn the table on their foes.

But I agree with you throwing in an original idea would be very nice!
